The FIFA World Cup starts tomorrow and as you can see from my mood on the right, I’m pumped. To add to that, me and my little brother are taking part in a little betting game that we made up that will last until the end of the tournament and result in one of us paying the other a nice cash prize. So, I’m gonna share the rules of our game incase you guys want to play with your friends.

Basically, here’s how it goes:

1. Your kidneys need plenty of water (about 8-10 cups per day) to properlly perform their duties as vital organs in your body. When they don’t get enough water, they aren’t able to do those duties properlly or completely.
2. When you lose weight by cutting down on your calories, eating healthier, exercising, etc. your liver is what actually breaks down the stored fat and allows it to metabolize.
3. When your kidneys don’t get enough water, the liver steps in and does the rest of the job the kidneys were supposed to work on. This simply means that the liver now has less time to metabolize the fat.

Conclusion: Drink water and let your organs respectively do their own damn work.
