Silence represents a relative or total lack of audible sound. An environment with sound below 20 decibels is considered quiet or silent. Laialy, lol ur too hard on urself :] shorof, wow torture? but STILL i don't think it would be completely silent.. one can still hear the many functions of the body. other than sleep, i don't have much time to sit still and just relax.. i will make a habit of it though in a few months inshalla.. cat, loud and clear.

Totally insulated sound proof rooms that I believe were (are?) used as a method of torture. As total silence is not the natural order of the world, we are not equipped to handle it. Although normal 'noisy' silence, as we know it, is really a blessing at times. Personally, I need at least a couple of hours of it every day in order to function. But that's just me.
