		<description>Nothing new with that. Silence represents a relative or total lack of audible sound. An environment with sound below 20 decibels is considered quiet or silent. So, just as you said, silence, by definition, isn't 100% soundless.</description>

		<description>Didn't say anything about sitting still or relaxing... just being alone in silence, with no 'man-made' sounds such as music, tv, talking, etc.  one can be doing anything - even working or focusing on something - but the silence and the solitude for a couple of hours a day will refresh one's weary spirit :)</description>

shorof, wow torture? but STILL i don't think it would be completely silent.. one can still hear the many functions of the body. other than sleep, i don't have much time to sit still and just relax.. i will make a habit of it though in a few months inshalla..</description>

		<description>Complete silence, actually, does exist.  Totally insulated sound proof rooms that I believe were (are?) used as a method  of torture.  As total silence is not the natural order of the world, we are not equipped to handle it.  Although  normal 'noisy' silence, as we know it, is really a blessing at times.  Personally, I need at least a couple of hours of it every day in order to function.  But that's just me.</description>
