Indy.. My First Love

My childhood crush is back! And I’m still crushing! The “Indiana Jones” series is my third favorite Stephen Speilberg work right after “E.T.” and “Close Encounters..” Rumors of a fourth installment have been stirring for years and it was announced last year that there definitely will be a fourth. Harrison Ford still looks good as the rough and scruffy professor/action hero.

Production began yesterday, June 21st, and the movie is expected to be released on May 22nd, 2008. That’s unfortunate because there’s a chance I won’t be in the USA. But if I am, I’ll be there with my authentic Indiana Jones fedora that I have!

Shia LaBeouf, who’s been in almost every movie this year, is also starring as Indiana’s son. Other actors the movie include Cate Blanchett, John Hurt, Ray Winstone and Jim Broadbent.

One of the reasons I loved the movies was because the action sequences look real. That’s because they were real physical action sequences with real stuntmen and mechanical machines. I really hope they don’t rely too much on the computer generated technique.

I can’t wait! :D

Close encounters of the thrd kind ? You gotta be kiddin .. if you see the movie from the ‘Indian eye’ you will laugh …cz Speilberg always uses Srilanka as a Substitute for India , whch is totally diff from Indian Culture BTW.
specially in Temple of Doom when Indie lands in North India ,local people are speaking Srilankan Tamil instead of Hindi … sucker eh?

Nothing wrong with the movie other than the fact this is the only speilberge movie i dont want to see ever again . If i am not wrong even Speilberg has some regrets about this movie . Also this is one the movies that has been parodied more than any other movie of our generation…

OK apparently i am wrong , i checked the review on rottentomatoes.com and CEOTC got 92% fresh just 8% rotten … probably i couldn’t digest the way Indians are portrayed in the movie….

first of all i dont trust the critiques of this generation where dumbass gross-out movies are more successful than the smart movies that have a purpose.. people are getting dumber and dumber..

second of all.. i dont remember at all about the indian thing you’re talking about.. i’ll watch it again tomorrow and i’ll see what’s up :|
