Suicide

I was just watching an episode of Miami Ink where some girl had a tattoo done to comemorate her younger brother who had comitted suicide at age 15.

“I’m just happy to know that he’s in a place where there’s no pressure and no pain.”

HAH! NO PAIN! If that were true then everyone would take the first chance at popping themselves! I actually laughed out loud. All that girl can ask is for God to have mecry on his soul. I’m not preaching or anything but aside from suicide being a sin in the three major religion, I am obviously against it. I think that there are no greater cowards than those that take their own life. They don’t even deserve any sympathy. If any of my friends or family (God forbid) chose to go down that road, I would feel nothing but anger towards them. Hopefully I won’t go through anything like that.

In a related issue, what the west calls “suicide bombers” is not the same thing. Whatever their beliefs and opinions are, they are sacrificing their lives believing that they will make things better for others. It doesn’t matter how much better or for how many people. People who commit suicide usually cause great pain and guilt for their friends and family. It’s almost as if they are transfering all their issues that caused them to be suicidal to those people.

There is always a way out of it. For those of you who have lost someone through suicide, I’m sorry for your loss.

How do suicide bombers really make life better for others?
When suicide bombers kill as many people as they can, do they make life better for the victims and their families?
Do you think that suicide bombings are “okay” in the major religions?

Your defense of suicide bombers is sick.

so if i sacrifice my life (suicide) in order for my parents to have financiall ease would that make it better? you dont make any sense. and i did watch that episode of miami ink; people have different ways of dealing with things. the girl explained that he had problems and obviously he wasnt in control or thinking straight when he did it. i’m not trying to say that i’m by his side.. but also i’m not against him. i do understand your point of you about suicide and i respect it. but the thing about suicide bombers.. THINK AGAIN! cheers : )

according to their reasons yes they are making things better for others.. i might not think those reasons are justified by they do. thats the difference. they are resisting against some kind of opression against their own people. sacrificing themselves is not suicide.
and i’m not defending them, im explaining how “suicide bombers” are different than suicidal people.

i dont need to think again, and this defense IS “sick” :) thanks
