My hair’s so poofy I should stuff my bra with it.

My frizz is so wild even a dominatrix couldn’t tame it.

My hair’s so dry firemen get nervous.

I wish my hair could borrow volume from my butt.

My hair’s poofier than a bridesmaid’s dress.

These are hilarious! I found them in the September issue of InStyle magazine. I don’t know if there are any more quotes though. Really great ads. My favorite HAS to be the one with about the butt

+ I’m back in the US of A.
+ WTF?! Pluto is not a planet? What is up with that?!
+ I saw a guy on the bus today that could soooo easily be Elijah Wood’s little brother. So, he doesn’t look exactly like him but he has all the features. Big eyes, long lashes, same mouth, same chin, and thick eyebrows. He had brown hair and green eyes. He also was skinny and so childlike. Elijah isn’t that WOW for me but his fake little brother is hot
.
+ Has anyone been to Video Al Arqam yet?
+ This website has an article for each La Liga game of the week (in Spanish). But in each article page, there’s a video available for download that shows the highlights of the game (usually, the link is under the image). However, the commentary on the video is also in Spanish. I used that website all of last season. I have yet to try the Norweigan WebTV that I talked about in my previous post because the Real Madrid game was on Sunday and I moved in here on that same day

+ My History of Rock ‘n’ Roll teacher said “bastard” in his first lecture. Haha

Ofcourse, many of you can’t wait ’till the Spanish League starts again.
Ofcourse, many of you might not have access to live feeds of the games.
BUT!! I think I’ve found a solution. Back in the 2004-2005 season, it was my first year of college and I was really bummed that the USA weren’t too crazy about soccer as the rest of the world is and spent about two months watching choppy streaming feeds from random websites. The quality was terrible and it was extremely annoying. So I kept trying to find alterantive ways. Then I found this website. It is a Norweigan webTV channel that broadcasts many sporting events LIVE in broadband high quality resolution (but not fullscreen). Although the comentary is in Norweigan, I was so desperate I didn’t really care. However, it is a pretty expensive service. Around $100. Crazy I know, but what can I do?
This channel has this thing called subscriptions. Each event is it’s own subscription. For example, the Spanish League is it’s own subscription and it lasts until the end of the season. If you clicked on the link, you can see the different events available in the column on the left. Since the Spanish League didn’t start yet, it is not yet listed. It will be either a day before or on the day of the first match.
Just my luck, for the 2005-2006 season, I was ready to sign up for another season but I was then told that the service was not available for the United States anymore.
Sucks ass, but I’m hopeful so maybe it won’t be this time around. If it still isn’t available, I will have to have someone in kuwait to sign me up. Afterwards, it won’t matter where you’re watching, as long as when you paid the subscription you were in a country that was eligible (I think).
I’ll let you know how it goes. In the meantime, I would appreciate any suggestions of other sites and services. I won’t work with crappy streams.

Finally! After three and a half months of doubtfull searching, I found a store that sells old Arabic stuff on DVDs. And it also turns out to be the store that I’ve been a customer to for about four years! I just never thought to ask them for some reason. Warda on this post pointed it out to me.
I went today and asked and the guy pulled out a catalogue FILLED with all NEW and OLD Arabic TV shows and plays on DVD. Each disc is 2KD. I bought Khalti Gmasha (5 discs) and Madrasat Al Mushaghibeen (1 disc). And I’ll buy more soon, before I leave Kuwait inshalla. Woohoo! Hapiness

+ Found a torrent on TorrentSpy.com of the complete Calvin & Hobbes comics on a single PDF file. That is freaking cool. It’s 178mb and I’m currently downloading it so I hope it looks pretty good. I’m still planning on buying this though.
+ Here are the pictures of “possibly the smallest kitten in the world.” I don’t see what all the fuss is about. It looks like a normal sized kitten to me.
+ Best sites to get quality Arabic MP3s: Dewaniya.com and Mazikana.com. Although I don’t know why Mazikana has been screwing up lately.
+ I’m planning on getting this phone in the next few days. I love its specifications and can’t wait to get it. Only thing is, white or black?
UPDATE: I HAVE NO MORE INVITES LEFT FOR DEWANIYA.COM.. I SUGGEST YOU NICELY CONTACT THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE REQUESTED INVITES IN THE COMMENTS BELOW. I’M SURE THEY WILL BE NICE ENOUGH TO SEND YOU ONE.

This has been circling emails rapidly but you really have to see this Sky News anchor get bitch-slapped in words by George Galloway, a Member of Parliament, on live TV. He even mouths-off Rupert Murdoch! The chairman of SKY!
