Shut the door...

What Now, Huh?! What!!

Ronaldo silenced all his critics yesterday claiming he was done and had nothing else to give. So just shut it!! After all these years of fantastic service for his country and club teams, I HATE it when the whole stadiums boo the poor guy. It’s as if they’ve forgotten all his contributions. They’ve forgotten that he has given them numerous boasting rights. Yesterday, I was discussing this issue with my cousin and the last thing I said was that Brazilians do not deserve him.

And I can’t wait to see what they’ll say when he beats Gerd Müller’s record of 14 collective goals in World Cup competitions. He will do it.

I’m sick and tired of people saying he’s fat. He is not. After his huge injury a few years ago his doctors said the only way to protect yourself is to build up more muscle mass so he can withstand defensive blows. And I’ve seen than all time. He doesn’t fall down as musch as he used to. He instead and push them off thanks to the extra power he has gained. However, this increased weight (muscle, not fat) has significanlty made him slower. And whoever says that he’s lost his magic can just bang his head on the wall.

I’m cheering for three teams for the World Cup. In order, they are Brazil, Portugal and England. So far, it appears I have picked a good selection. I’ve always cheered for Brazil ever since my first world cup memory: watching the ‘94 final against Italy. My older brother and sister were with Italy and my mother was with Brazil. “Always cheer for the poorer country.” she’d always say. Being eight years old and not understanding what she meant, I naturally sided with my mother. And the rest is history.

P.S. I know I’ll get mean comments about Ronaldo but please, for me, don’t be too harsh and mean. I love this man very dearly and it hurts me when I read or hear supremely negative things about him.

Chicken Or the Egg

I think the egg came first. Here is why:

Those of you who believe in evolution know that all animals once came from aquatic organisms. Bacteria > fish > reptiles > mamals. I might be wrong but I think that’s how it went. Anyway, what I’m saying is that over time an offspring was born different that its parents. So I think it is pretty simple to understand that one day, a bird like thing layed an egg and then the first little chick popped out. The actual laying of the egg is when the little chick’s life started, therefore, the egg came first.
