Good Ridance
Florentino Pérez has announced his resignition late yesterday from his position as Real Madrid Football Club President.
Finally! Now the club can find someone new that would focus on the the quality of the team and their ability to play effectively and consistantly, rather than their ability to bring in the big bucks by using their celebrity. Now the club can also find a head coach that will actually stay longer than 6 months with the players. It is ridiculous that Real Madrid have been with 5 different coaches in 3 seasons.
It is ridiculous that Pérez let the fantastic Vicente Del Bosque go after 4 loyal seasons serving the team. I think that was the biggest mistake Pérez ever did in his life. He let him go a day after Real Madrid won their 29th league title in the 2002-2003 season! And what’s worse is that he was replaced by Manchester United’s assistant coach, Carlos Queroz, just so that the new signing, David Beckham, would feel more comfortable in Madrid. In Del Bosque’s 4 years at Madrid, he lead the team to 2 league titles, 2 European Cups, 2 Super Cups, and a World Club Cup.
Real Madrid have been scouting for yet another new coach since Luxembourgo was sacked and Real Madrid’s second team head coach, Juan Ramón López Caro, took over for the remainder of this season. I think that since Pérez won’t be around, maybe the club officials should try to convince Del Bosque to come back. However, that is highly unlikely.
Oh well, it doesn’t look like Madrid will be winning anything this year. But I’ll be optimistic for next season what with a new president and a new coach.
Hala Madrid!

As much as I hate Real Madrid, I had some sympathy towards them lately. I really would cry my @$$ off of laughter to see them beaten but then La Liga and UEFA Champions would be dull without them. IMO
Anyhow.. It’s about time that mofo stands down. Hopefully this turns out for their best, bas layma95oonha o0 ya5thoon el Champions! =P
