Ultimate Dedication

Meet Jared Leto. One of the better-looking actors of Hollywood. This man is so dedicated to his work that he was willing to gain 40 lbs (around 20 kgs) to play the part of John David Chapman, the man who killed John Lennon, for a movie. Gotta give him credit though; he does look like the @#$^&!%.
Notice the book in his hand. Chapman is known to have bought The Catcher in the Rye right before going over to kill Lennon. It’s a great book, but why is it always linked with psychotic people? Remember the Mel Gibson/Julia Roberts movie Conspiracy Theory? And that freaky dude in the Good Girl that called himself Holden and was always mentioning the book? Weird.
Lindsay Lohan is also in the movie. But I don’t know as whom. This explains all the gossip of them “dating.” Although it could be possible, I think them hanging out is just for the movie. Getting to know each other and stuff. Who knows.
Update: I’m thinking that even though he gained all that weight, that stomach might actually be an add-on? Because, I don’t think 40 lbs would give him that. So maybe he’s porky now, but still puts on a belly during filming as well.

wowow.. i cant believe he gained all that for a movie!! well then again, the money must have made him do it too

I don’t understand how they do that. Once the fat cells are formed, they can lose weight, but since the cells do not go away, (just empty of fat) it is easy to gain weight again.
ps. I would like the kuwaiti version of the pic on the left.

If i have his fit body, I’d lock myself up in a safe box and place it on the roof of a bank!
Are you kidding me? Give up all those abs?
Or wait .. I’d do it for a couple million dollars.
Ok .. A couple ten thousands.

misscosmo, im not sure but i think the movie companies pay for the actors’ weight training and dietition expenses to get back to the way he or she was before.. but if not, im sure the actors themselves wont mind spending a couple of thousands to get their appearance back

He’s doing all that for a couple of dollars? And he might as well stay fat and never lose weight again. And then when he finally looses weight, write a book about his struggle with weight loss… and gain more money. Oh, don’t mind me, I’ve just had less than four hours sleep in over two days.
‘Catcher in the Rye’ wasn’t at all that fascinating. It was banned in the US, still is banned in some schools, in some states -or so I hear- because of its contreversiality. The main character is an outcast, hates everybody and is hated by everybody, young as he is, and I guess it’s sort of similar to how psycho, lunatic, cuckoo people feel. But hey, i’ve read the book and I’m not loony-tunes. Yet. I sort of hated the way the boy cusses all the time. Not that I don’t cuss. Oh I’d better shut up.
But mark my words, he’ll regret putting up these pounds. Or maybe he won’t….
