LA - Day 15, 16

It was a pretty boring New Year’s. We went to the Hollywood district to see if they were gonna do something like fireworks or a countdown of some sort. But all we saw are empty streets and scary homosexual goths and a few trannies. We had some icecream at Disney’s Soda Fountain & Studio Store. It was a really charming place. It looked like the Soda Shoppe from Archie Comics. Really cool.

We went to SeaWorld today. It was perfect, apart from the soaking rain and cold winds. I actually had to buy a whole new DRY outfit from the gift shop. The whole park wa spretty empty as well. The part of the whole day were the shows. We attended a killer whale show, a dolphin show and a sea lion show. They were all great but my favorite one was the dolphin show because they had a volunteer family to some of the interaction stuff: a mom, dad and a kid. After all the interaction stuff, the whole family was standing on a makeshift bridge over the dolphin tank when suddenly the mom fell into the pool!! Everyone paniced! The trainers were fumbling over their words and the mom was screaming and splashing in the water. The trainers then told her to swim to the edge so that they can pull her out. Then!! One of the dolphins came up to her and she screamed! And then she grabbed his fin and it dragged her around the pool! Then she finally jumped over the edge when the trainers said “By now, I’m sure you’ve all realised that Rachel is one of our dolphin trainers here at SeaWorld!” Haha. The whole stadium got Punk’d.
More photographs here.

P.S. I thought having the World Poker Series on ESPN was the greatest joke of all time, but I am now watching a spelling bee competition. And yes, there are two commentators also.
